Master Chef in the international kitchen
Edwin Kats is at the helm of restaurant Noble. At 25, he was the youngest chef ever to win the title ‘SHV Meesterkok’ (Master Chef), the highest title a chef can receive. In 1995 he received a Michelin star at restaurant De Swaen, and in 2002 even two at restaurant La Rive.
Edwin has brought out two of his own cookbooks and has given demonstrations at many national and international events. In 2008, after 25 years, he spread his wings and travelled abroad for the InterContinental Hotels Group. As executive chef, he was responsible for the entire culinary operation of hotels in Lebanon and China.
Inspired by his international experiences and driven by his passion for his profession, Edwin returned four years later to take up culinary entrepreneurship. In 2013 he opened the doors of restaurant Noble in the former Chalet Royal in Den Bosch.
